Selective Colour

This is a good tutorial to use if you only want part of an image to be coloured. I originally learned it from here.

1. Go to Image > Mode > Greyscale if your image isn't already black and white (or grey!). Next, go to Image > Mode > RBG, which will allow you to add primary colours now.
2. In the menu on the left hand side, choose the 'Magic Wand Tool' (it should be the second icon down on the right). Then click the part of the image you want to add colour to, so it's selected. If the right amount isn't automatically selected, change the 'Tolerance' number at the top of the screen.

3. Click the 'Floodfill Bucket', and then click in the selected area. It should now fill with colour :)
4. Go to Select > Deselect and then save.
