Softening Glow (Gaussian Blur)
Have you ever wondered how people make their photos look really soft and nice? Here's how.
1. Open up your image in PSP. It doesn't have to be a photo, but the end result tends to look better if it is.
2. Go to Effects > Blur > Gaussian Blur, and change the radius to 5.0. Click 'Ok'.
3. Your image will be pretty blurry, so press 'Ctrl' and 'C' (copies), 'Ctrl' and 'Z' (undoes) and finally 'Ctrl' and 'L' (pastes as a new layer).
4. Then go to Layers > Properties, and change the 'Opacity' to somewhere between 40 and 60%. Click 'Ok'.
